Cambodia’s exports surge 19.5 pct to $17 bln in H1 2026
Cambodia’s exports jumped 19.5% year-on-year to $17 billion in the first half of 2026, according to a General Department of Customs and Excise report released yesterday.

The report added that the country’s imports surged 21.4% year-on-year to $19.7 billion from January to June this year.
Secretary of state and spokesperson for Cambodian Ministry of Commerce (MoC) Penn Sovicheat said that the growth was driven by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) alongside bilateral free trade agreements with other economies.
“These regional and bilateral trade pacts offer a strong foundation for exporting Cambodian goods with highly preferential tariffs,” he told Xinhua.
