Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit next month to galvanise investments
The 2026 summit is expected to serve as a strategic platform for dialogue and deeper regional integration, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to innovation-driven and sustainable economic growth.

The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) will co-host the Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026 this March in Phnom Penh, aiming to promote investment and business opportunities for foreign investors and strengthen regional economic integration.
The two-day summit will take place on March 3-4, 2026, at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra under the theme “ASEAN Transformation: Innovation, Integration, and Industrial Evolution,” according to a statement released by CCC on Monday. The event will be organised in collaboration with international chambers of commerce and business associations in Cambodia and across ASEAN member states.
The official opening ceremony will be presided over by Prime Minister Hun Manet, underscoring the government’s strong backing for private-sector-led growth and regional cooperation. The summit is also expected to draw high-ranking dignitaries, ambassadors, representatives of key institutions, members of ASEAN-BAC, major international companies operating in Cambodia and the wider ASEAN region, as well as experts from diverse industries.
According to CCC, the summit will highlight ASEAN’s economic potential alongside Cambodia’s national development framework, referred to as the “Cambodia Strategy.” Key discussions will centre on enhancing opportunities in clean energy transitions, sustainable land management, and high-value manufacturing. Participants will also examine ways to harmonise customs procedures, taxation systems, logistics networks, and financial ecosystems to facilitate smoother cross-border trade and business expansion.
Other agenda items include strengthening regional supply chains, revitalising tourism, and preparing the workforce for future demands. Special attention will be given to the evolution of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) systems to ensure that skills development keeps pace with technological advancement and industrial transformation.
CCC Deputy Director General Meng Nimol said the summit is expected to attract investors and business leaders from major companies in the region, as well as from key markets such as the European Union and the United States. “Organising the Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026 reflects the role of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce in continuing to promote Cambodia’s investment potential abroad and attracting them to step into the country,” Meng told Khmer Times yesterday.
He added that the summit will provide foreign investors with firsthand insight into Cambodia’s investment climate, regulatory reforms, and emerging sectors. It will also create opportunities to form partnerships with local investors and enterprises, particularly in priority industries aligned with Cambodia’s long-term economic vision.
