Cambodian businesses target Vietnam, regional markets at EWEC 2026 trade fair
Cambodian businesses are seeking to expand exports and establish new regional trade links through participation in the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) 2026 International Trade Fair in Vietnam, focusing on processed goods and handicrafts.

Trade Attaché of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Hor Dareth, led and coordinated the participation of Cambodian business delegates—including Campion Group and Norea Craftsmanship Decor—at the trade fair, which runs from August 12–17 at the Da Nang Trade Promotion Centre.
The Cambodian delegation is using the event to showcase the quality and commercial potential of Khmer products to Vietnamese and international buyers, while exploring new markets for competitive processed and handicraft items.
Beyond product promotion, the participation is intended to create direct trade links between Cambodian companies and regional importers, distributors, and business partners, potentially opening new channels for exports.
The event also provides Cambodian businesses with an opportunity to leverage the EWEC as a platform for exploring investment, cross-border trade, and supply-chain cooperation.
This initiative is expected to contribute to stronger bilateral trade and economic ties between Cambodia and Vietnam, while helping Cambodian enterprises connect with broader regional markets.
