Cambodia-Vietnam business gathering marks Khmer New Year in Ho Chi Minh City

The Cambodia Commercial Office in Ho Chi Minh City hosted a reception for the Cambodian and Vietnamese business communities to celebrate the Khmer New Year.

Touch Sopharath, Cambodia’s ambassador to Vietnam, led the meeting on Thursday. In her opening remarks, she extended New Year greetings to the assembled businesspeople and guests, noting the importance of deepening economic ties between the two nations.

Sopharath emphasised the need to strengthen trade relations and bilateral investment to ensure that cooperation remains robust. The Commercial Office said the event served as a networking platform, enabling business leaders to exchange views and expand their professional connections.

The event was held in an atmosphere of unity, reflecting the ongoing diplomatic and commercial partnership between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
