Cambodia registers 146 investment projects in the first quarter of 2026

A total of 146 projects worth about $2.5 billion were registered in Cambodia in the first quarter of this year by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the Provincial Investment Sub-Committee (PIC).

 

The projects have the potential to create 82,000 jobs, the CDC said in a press release.

Of the 146 investment projects, 95 were registered by the CDC and 51 by the PIC.

CDC said that in the first quarter of the year, Cambodia attracted major investment projects, including a special economic zone, wind power plant, a car assembly facility, a tyre factory, and a facility for motorcycle assembly.
