A prominent delegation from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) has arrived in the Malaysian capital to tap into the regional medical market and attract investment into the kingdom’s expanding healthcare sector, business officials said.

Tan Kim Meng, an elected member of the CCC, is leading the 20-member delegation to SEACare 2026, the Southeast Asian Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Show. The premier regional trade event features more than 500 exhibition stands and is expected to draw more than 15,000 international participants, according to an official CCC statement.
During the exhibition, Cambodian delegates held targeted discussions with global manufacturers, investors, and policymakers. The discussions focused on expanding trade, sourcing pharmaceutical supplies, and exploring joint ventures in the healthcare and wellness sectors.
Organised by Qube Integrated Malaysia, SEACare has become a vital business-matching platform linking international brands with distributor networks across Southeast Asia.
Officials noted that the mission aligns with CCC President Kith Meng’s broader strategy to bring Cambodian enterprises onto the international stage, helping local businesses modernise and secure vital regional partnerships. The initiative aims to equip local medical and pharmaceutical firms with the global insights needed to upgrade services back home.
Cambodia’s healthcare sector has grown steadily in recent years, driven by rising domestic demand and government efforts to modernise medical infrastructure. Business leaders hope the Kuala Lumpur summit will catalyse new private-sector investment to improve the country’s healthcare ecosystem.
