Cambodia promotes agricultural investment during China visit
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) Undersecretary of State Ky Chandromdoul paid a working visit to Haikou City, Hainan Province, China, from May 10-14 to study trade potential and attract investment cooperation between Haikou and the Kingdom of Cambodia.

According to MAFF’s statement on Saturday, the delegation was accompanied by Va Pisey, Undersecretary of State at MAFF; Lim Phanphara, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce; and Iv Sokhom, Consul General of Cambodia in Haikou.
The visit yielded notable results, with several companies expressing interest in visiting Cambodia to explore investment opportunities, particularly in the agricultural sector, under Haikou’s ODI support policy and in connection with Cambodia’s Qualified Investment Project (QIP) incentives.
