Creditors of shuttered Huione Pay Plc told to apply to NBC

The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) has issued a notice to creditors who have not received payment from the payment service provider Huione Pay PLC. to come to the National Bank of Cambodia, Sen Sok Building, Phnom Penh,

 

Creditors are told to to establish their identity by bringing relevant evidence or documents from December 8 to 19, 2025.

According to the notice from the National Bank of Cambodia, the National Bank of Cambodia would like to inform the public that the payment service provider HUIONE PAY PLC. was revoked of its operating license in September 2024 and was liquidated by REACHS & PARTNERS CO., Ltd. in accordance with legal procedures in June 2025.

The National Bank of Cambodia stated, “However, the National Bank of Cambodia has observed complaints from some members of the public on social media, claiming to be creditors who have not yet received payment from the payment service provider Huione Pay PLC”

Therefore, the National Bank of Cambodia would like to request that the public who claim to be associated with the Huione Pay PLC payment service provider, please come to the National Bank of Cambodia, Sen Sok Building, to establish their identity by bringing relevant evidence or documents from December 8 to 19, 2025.

The National Bank of Cambodia would like to remind the public to exercise extreme caution and avoid transactions involving crypto assets that have not yet been licensed to operate by the relevant authorities.
