More Isuzu stores on the horizon

Isuzu Lao Services Sole Company plans to open more dealerships in Vientiane to keep up with customer demand after a recent promotion sent sales skyrocketing.

As part of efforts to reach its annual sales target of 1,000 pickup trucks by the end of the year, the company has held a series of promotions to draw more customers to its vehicle dealerships.

The company has given away one Yamaha Fino scooter every month since July and since the competition started, Isuzu Lao Services Managing Director, Mr Virasaykham Philaphandeth, said sales had been up.

“In July, the company sold 80 pick-ups. After that we sold 67 in August and 69 pick-ups in September, then 50 in October,” he said.

The company has sold more than 600 pick-ups since January.

Mr Virasaykham said next year's promotions would be even bigger and better than this year's to ensure customers were satisfied with their service.

He said he was confident customers would keep on buying Isuzu vehicles as they were an economical option and renowned for their durability and fuel economy.

The details of next year's promotions and activities will be announced at the final presentation ceremony for the company's 2013 competitions.

Mr Thongdaeng Fangkham was the lucky draw winner in October and is now the proud owner of his own Yamaha Fino.

A resident of Nongboua village in Phonthong district, Champassak province, Mr Thongdaeng's name was drawn by Isuzu staff at a ceremony on November 5.
