UYFC gears up for 2nd Khmer Product Expo to boost local products
The Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) is accelerating preparations for the second Khmer Product Exhibition, scheduled for the first week of November, as part of efforts to promote locally produced goods and strengthen domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

A preparatory meeting and information-sharing session was held on Wednesday between the UYFC, the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and various supporting partners ahead of the event.
Held under the theme “Khmer Can Do: Participate, Promote and Support Local Products”, the exhibition will take place from November 6-8 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center.
Building on the success of previous initiatives, the 2nd Khmer Product Expo will showcase the growing quality, competitiveness and branding capabilities of domestic producers.
Designed as a marketplace and networking platform, the exhibition aims to showcase a diverse range of locally produced goods, manufacturing innovations and professional services, reinforcing nationwide support for Cambodian enterprises.
“Beyond the exhibition, because it carries deep meaning, it not only participates in promoting and supporting local products, but there are also many diverse programmes in that event that awaken the spirit of national unity and the spirit of a single nation,” the CCC said in a statement issued yesterday.
The exhibition will feature 200 booths displaying products ranging from processed foods and agricultural produce to handicrafts, garments, technology solutions and corporate services.
The Khmer Product Exhibition 2026 will be organised through collaboration between the Ministry of Commerce and the UYFC.
According to the ministry, the event is intended to further encourage the widespread consumption of local products and strengthen support for domestic businesses.
The two organisers called on business owners, producers and traders to help promote Cambodian products, encourage broader public support for domestic goods and showcase national pride.
The initiative comes as Cambodia continues efforts to promote local production and improve the capacity of SMEs to compete in domestic and international markets.
Organisers said the expo aligns with the government’s strategic framework to stimulate domestic consumption, support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and raise the profile of Cambodian-made products.
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are regarded as a key pillar of the national economy, with approximately 750,000 establishments operating nationwide, providing employment for nearly three million and serving as a major driver of economic growth.
As of September, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation had registered more than 44,000 small enterprises and craft workshops employing nearly 500,000 workers nationwide.
The ministry recorded approximately 2,600 domestic products during the first nine months of this year, an increase of about 1,100 items compared with the same period last year, the data showed.
