Cambodia collects $72M in revenue from legal casinos in 2025

In 2025, the Cambodian Commercial Gaming Commission collected more than $72 million in mandatory revenue from commercial gambling, a 14 percent increase compared to 2024.

Chhoeng Chantha, technical adviser to the commission’s general secretariat, said total mandatory revenue reached 290,736.49 million riels (approximately $72 million) in 2025. This marked an increase of 35,828.99 million riels, or 14 percent, over the same period in 2024.

As of the end of 2025, Cambodia had 195 licensed casinos, including 160 located in Preah Sihanouk province.

Chantha said authorities will take administrative action against casino operators who violate the Law on Commercial Gambling Management and related regulations, including issuing warnings, imposing fines, or suspending and revoking licenses.

He added that all casino owners and operators must strictly comply with applicable laws and government regulations.

On February 19, 2026, the commission issued a press release announcing the suspension and revocation of five casino license.
