Cambodia’s GDP per capita expected to jump 40% in 2025 to $2,924
The office of the council of ministers said Cambodia’s GDP per capita in 2025 is expected to rise to $2,924—a rise of over 40 percent over the projected 2024 figures. Economic growth is expected to reach 6.3 percent.
This would bring the current GDP to nearly $51.398 billion. The industrial sector is projected to grow by 8.6 percent, and inflation is expected to be around 2.5 percent.
According to the Office of the Council of Ministers, Cambodia’s gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in 2025 is expected to rise to $2,924—a rise of over 40 per cent over the projected 2024 figures. Economic growth is expected to reach 6.3 percent.
This would bring the current GDP to nearly 209,163 billion riel, or $51.398 billion.
A cabinet release said the industrial sector is projected to grow by 8.6 percent, the service sector by 5.6 percent, and the agriculture sector by 1.1 percent.
A domestic media outlet reported that inflation is expected to remain at around 2.5 percent, and the social sector will continue to be prioritized.
In the first nine months of this year, Cambodia’s foreign trade volume reached $40.94 billion—a 16.4 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase. During this period, exports totalled $19.83 billion—up 17 percent YoY, while imports were $21.11 billion—up 15.9 percent YoY. Fibre2Fashion News Desk (DS).
