Cambodia trade hits $57B, up 21.3% in 9 months
Cambodia’s total trade volume rose 21.3% year-on-year to $57 billion in the first nine months, driven by strong growth in both exports and imports, according to the latest report of the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE).

The Kingdom’s total exports reached $27.09 billion from January to September, up 21% from $22.38 billion in the same period last year, while imports increased 21.6% to $29.92 billion from $24.61 billion, the GDCE data released on October 9 showed.
The combined value of exports and imports reached $57.01 billion, up from $46.99 billion in the same period of 2025, representing a 21.3% increase in total trade volume.
Despite the growth in exports, Cambodia recorded a trade deficit of $2.83 billion during the nine months, widening from $2.23 billion a year earlier, as imports continued to exceed exports.
The export coverage ratio, which measures exports as a proportion of imports, stood at 90.6%, slightly down from 90.9% in the same period last year.
