Đồng Nai Province is seeking investors for infrastructure development of the Long Thành Concentrated Digital Technology Park, with total costs estimated at nearly VNĐ1.4 trillion (US$53 million).

Covering 119.5 ha in An Phước and Bình An communes in Đồng Nai City, the park is expected to become a centre for information technology, research and development (R&D), technology transfer and digital technology business incubation as well as digital technology services.

It will create a favourable environment for domestic and foreign investment and technology inflows to develop the information technology industry into a key economic driver.

The park is also designed to provide an internationally standardised working environment to attract highly skilled workers and strengthen the competitiveness of Vietnamese digital technology companies. It is expected to employ between 9,500 and 10,500 workers once fully developed.

It is expected to support the development of information technology products and services capable of replacing imports, while contributing to the growth of telecommunications, finance, banking, customs, aviation, trade, e-commerce, public services, education and training, healthcare, security and defence.

The project is part of Đồng Nai’s efforts to develop high-tech infrastructure and attract investment in digital technology, while strengthening the southern province’s role as a hub for technology-driven economic development.

The project will have an operating term of 50 years. Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2028, with infrastructure expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2031.
