Business delegation to join ASEAN–Russia Summit in Kazan

With the approval of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Cambodia Chamber of Commerce Vice President Tan Monivann will lead a business delegation to accompany the prime minister to the ASEAN–Russia Commemorative Summit in Kazan, Russia, from June 17–18.

Representing Cambodia Chamber of Commerce President and ASEAN Business Advisory Council Cambodia Chair Kith Meng, Monivann’s participation reflects the private sector’s role in advancing Cambodia’s regional and international economic engagement.

During the visit, the delegation will take part in the Russia–ASEAN Business Forum on June 17 at the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan. The high-level forum is organised as part of celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of ASEAN–Russia dialogue relations.

The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation and the Russia–ASEAN Business Council, in collaboration with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council.

The delegation will also participate in related meetings aimed at strengthening business linkages, identifying new investment opportunities and deepening economic cooperation between Cambodia and Russia within the broader ASEAN–Russia partnership framework.

The visit is expected to create further opportunities for trade, investment and private sector collaboration as Cambodia continues to diversify its international economic partnerships.
