In response to the Month of Action for Children 2026 with the theme “Happy and Safe Children Confidently Stepping into the Digital Era,” Prudential Vietnam has launched the Cha-Ching financial education programme at Xuân Đông Primary School in Đồng Tháp Province, continuing its efforts to promote financial literacy among primary school students nationwide.

Moving beyond traditional classroom teaching, Cha-Ching engages children through situational games, interactive quizzes and group activities. The programme’s four core pillars – earn, save, spend and donate – are seamlessly integrated to help students to develop a positive financial mindset from an early age.

The activity is part of the “Trao Gửi Yên Tâm” (Giving Peace of Mind) initiative, organised by Prudential Vietnam in collaboration with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and supported by the Prudence Foundation.

Lê Hương Ly, chief corporate and external affairs officer at Prudential Vietnam, said the programme demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding access to financial education for children across different localities.

“We believe that equipping children with financial literacy from an early age not only helps them become more proactive about their future but also fosters a responsible young generation capable of creating lasting impact for their families and communities,” she said.

Đinh Tiến Hải, director of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, said the programme helps children better appreciate the value of work and become more responsible toward themselves and society.

He expressed the hope that Cha-Ching would expand to more provinces and cities.

Alongside in-person classes, Prudential is accelerating the digitalisation of learning materials and developing online platforms to help students, teachers and parents access financial knowledge.

Since its launch in Việt Nam in 2019, Cha-Ching has reached more than 170,000 students and 5,300 teachers across 490 schools in nine provinces and cities.

In 2026, the programme will expand to Đà Nẵng, Huế, An Giang, Gia Lai, Thái Nguyên, Lâm Đồng, Đồng Nai, Thanh Hóa and Bắc Ninh, empowering more children to build smart money habits and greater financial confidence for the future.

Cha-Ching is a global financial education project initiated by the Prudence Foundation, developed in partnership with Cartoon Network Asia and educational expert Alice Wilder. It is now present in more than 16 markets worldwide.
