Cambodia’s milled rice export up 66% in first 4 months

Cambodia exported more than 460,000 tonnes of milled rice in the first four months of 2026, up 66% from around 280,000 tonnes in the same period last year, the Cambodia Rice Federation said in a news release yesterday.

The Southeast Asian country made about $266 million from milled rice exports during the January-April period this year, up 27% from $209 million over the same period last year, the news release said.

Forty-eight companies had shipped the kingdom’s milled rice to 60 countries and regions, the news release said, adding that ASEAN, China and the European Union were the major importers of Cambodian rice.
