Around 20 Korean companies eye business and investment expansion in Cambodia
About 20 executives from Korean companies have expressed interest in strengthening market connections, conducting business, and expanding investment in Cambodia.

Khuon Phon Rattanak, Cambodia’s Ambassador to the South Korea on Wednesday, attended a Cambodia–Korea business dinner attended by more than 20 Korean business leaders.
The event aimed to provide insights into Cambodia’s trade and investment environment while facilitating market linkages. Participants included executives from around 20 Korean companies interested in exploring business opportunities and expanding their investment in Cambodia. Most of the participating firms specialise in sectors such as education, healthcare, real estate, and cosmetics.
The ambassador encouraged Korean companies to explore investment opportunities in Cambodia’s key potential sectors, including tourism, agriculture, food processing, logistics, construction, healthcare, and beauty services. He also highlighted opportunities related to Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects in green energy.
Cambodia was presented as a strategic gateway for Korean companies seeking to expand their investments in Southeast Asia, a large and dynamic market supported by existing frameworks such as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Free Trade Area, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and the Cambodia–Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA).
