Trip.com and Visa offer all-expenses-paid trip to World Cup 2026

International one-stop travel service provider Trip.com and Visa have officially announced a strategic partnership built on a shared vision of fostering global connection through travel based on FIFA World Cup 2026.

Accordingly, the two brands will launch the “Top Spending Challenge”, offering Visa cardholders who book travel services via the Trip.com app the opportunity to win a grand prize – an all-expenses-paid trip covering return flights, accommodation, match tickets and curated experiences to catch the world’s biggest football event live.

This partnership combines Trip.com’s extensive travel ecosystem – spanning 39 countries, over 1.5 million hotels and flights from over 640 airlines connecting 3,400 airports in 220 countries and regions worldwide – with Visa’s secure, cross-border payment solutions available in more than 195 countries and territories, supporting transactions in 160 currencies.

Steve Nguyễn, general manager, Trip.com Vietnam, shared: “At Trip.com, we have a mission to help travellers pursue the perfect trip for a better world. With the FIFA World Cup 2026™ being a major event that draws the attention of millions of football fans in Việt Nam, we are excited to partner with Visa to offer this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them to catch the event live. Through this trip, we hope to deliver a memorable experience for fans – combining sporting excitement with cultural exploration and seamless payments – helping to turn their football dreams into reality.”

At the heart of the 2026 strategic partnership between Trip.com and Visa is the “Top Spending Race”, running from March 9, 2026 to April 7, 2026.

At the end of the campaign, the two customers with the highest total eligible spending will each receive a fully sponsored package for two persons (total of four attendees) to attend FIFA World Cup 2026™ in the US, including return flights departing from Hà Nội or HCM City to Miami USA, hotel accommodation, official match tickets, curated destination experiences, exclusive Visa privileges, and the Visa application fee.

In the event of a tie, the earliest qualifying transaction will be prioritised.

Through this collaboration, Trip.com and Visa not only deliver attractive rewards but also reinforce the message “Travel the World to Connect”, inspiring Vietnamese travellers to become part of the world’s greatest sporting event while experiencing meaningful cultural connections on a global scale.

Dung Đặng, country manager for Visa Vietnam and Laos, stated: “Visa is committed to delivering seamless payment experiences that make every journey to the world’s biggest stages convenient and meaningful, connecting people through shared moments with global communities. By helping travellers make the most of every journey, and fostering deeper connections among people and cultures, we are helping to turn the dreams of attending world-class events into reality for Vietnamese football fans.”
