Sacombank is participating in “Cashless Day 2025” as a silver sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to fostering digital payment adoption and supporting the Government and State Bank of Vietnam’s (SBV) strategy to build a cashless economy.

With the theme “Cashless Payments Driving the Digital Economy”, the event is co-organised by the SBV’s Payment Department, Thời báo Ngân hàng (The Banking Times), Tuổi Trẻ (Youth) newspaper, the HCM City Department of Industry and Trade, and the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam. It aims to promote the adoption of digital payment habits and smart spending practices and contribute to digital transformation in the country.

The event’s highlight, Ting Ting Day, a cashless festival, will take place from June 14–15 at Nguyễn Huệ pedestrian street in District 1. Sacombank will have an interactive booth there offering visitors practical gifts and introducing modern, eco-friendly payment solutions such as the Sacombank Pay app, Sacombank Mastercard MultiPass, Sacombank Mastercard Metro Pass and Visa Platinum O₂ card.

Sacombank is also rolling out the “Embrace Green Living - Ignite Digital Style” promotion through June 30, featuring attractive offers.

They include a lifetime waiver on annual fees and 100 per cent cashback for public transport transactions using the Mastercard MultiPass and Metro Pass, 100 per cent cashback on metro payments with the Sacombank Mastercard Metro Pass, 10 per cent cashback (up to VNĐ300,000) on purchases from eco-friendly brands like Decathlon, Vinamilk, and Xanh SM with the Visa Platinum O₂ card, rewards of up to VNĐ50,000 for successful referrals to open a Sacombank Pay account, online savings rates up to 0.7% higher than counter rates, and 50 per cent (up to VNĐ 25,000) cashback on mobile top-ups.

Over the years, Sacombank has invested heavily in digital infrastructure, adopted advanced security technologies, diversified its electronic payment products and services and intensified communication campaigns to raise public awareness of digital finance and reshape consumer behaviour.

By the end of May 2025, nearly 96 per cent of transactions at the bank were conducted via digital channels. Its Sacombank Pay app has been downloaded over 6.8 million times, and the bank has issued more than six million cards.
