Sacombank Cambodia – A bridge to promote trade growth in Indochina

Amid strong growth in Indochina, Sacombank Cambodia has launched a promotion to help customers cut costs and improve cross-border transactions with Việt Nam and Laos.

Amid robust economic growth in the Indochina region, Sacombank Cambodia, one of the pioneers in regional financial connectivity, has launched a special promotional programme to help customers optimise costs and enhance the efficiency of cross-border transactions between Cambodia, Việt Nam and Laos.

To run until the end of 2025, the programme offers a range of financial incentives to both individual and corporate clients to promote regional trade and economic integration.

Its key benefits include up to 30 per cent discounts on fees for outgoing and incoming money transfers between the three countries via the Sacombank network, significantly reducing cross-border transaction costs.

Both new and existing customers involved in cross-border business in Indochina can get loan interest rate reductions of up to 1 percentage point.

Sacombank Cambodia is also offering up to 30 per cent discounts on fees for bank guarantees, letters of credit and domestic money transfers, providing comprehensive financial support for all important transactions.

With Sacombank’s large network of 549 transaction offices across Cambodia, Việt Nam and Laos, Sacombank Cambodia not only ensures fast and seamless transactions but also upholds the highest standards of security, safety and convenience for both individual and corporate clients.

According to the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, trade between Việt Nam and Cambodia was worth US$7.7 billion in 2024, accounting for 14.1 per cent of Cambodia’s total trade of $54.6 billion.

Sacombank Cambodia played a key role in this growth, facilitating $2.47 billion worth of bilateral trade transactions, including $2 billion in export deals, representing 32.08 per cent of total trade between the two nations.

These figures underscore the bank’s vital contribution in providing efficient financial and payment solutions to support the growing flow of goods and services between Việt Nam and Cambodia.

With a rapidly expanding customer base across Indochina, and thanks to the trust, loyalty and referrals of existing clients, Sacombank Cambodia is committed to continuous improvement, delivering faster and more professional and secure services.

Looking ahead, the bank aims to deepen regional business connections to drive a breakthrough in trade growth between Việt Nam and Cambodia in 2025 and beyond.

Built on a foundation of strong financial capacity and deep regional market expertise, Sacombank Cambodia continues to strengthen its position as a leading financial partner for businesses across Indochina.

The bank pledges to stand by its customers in overcoming challenges, seizing new opportunities, and achieving sustainable development.
