A groundbreaking ceremony for the FPT Education Complex was held on Wednesday in Thái Hòa Ward, Tân Uyên City, marking a key step in Bình Dương Province’s efforts to become a regional centre for innovation and digital transformation.

Spanning over 84,000 square metres, the complex is designed to serve as a comprehensive education ecosystem, offering programs from high school through university. The facility will feature lecture halls, dormitories, multi-purpose areas and sports fields.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Văn Chính praised Bình Dương’s commitment to building an innovative ecosystem, highlighting education, digital infrastructure, and human capital as key pillars. He also commended FPT for its strategic vision and investment in the country’s educational future.

“This project not only reflects FPT’s social responsibility but also positions it as a key contributor in Việt Nam’s digital transformation journey,” he said.

The complex’s architecture draws inspiration from atomic network structures, symbolising scientific progress and aligning with FPT’s signature design in the southern region. The curriculum is set to integrate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and data science.

Bình Dương, with a population of more than 1.8 million and one of the fastest-growing economies in southern Việt Nam, is positioning itself as a centre for tech-driven education and innovation. Provincial Chairman Võ Văn Minh emphasised that the new complex would help nurture future technological talents critical to both regional and national development.

FPT General Director Nguyễn Văn Khoa reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to sustainable development in Bình Dương and beyond.

Once completed, the FPT Education Complex is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of digital professionals, aligning with Việt Nam’s broader goals for education and technological advancement.
