Amazon has announced 96-hours of savings this Prime Day which will run from July 8 at 12:01am (Pacific Daylight Time) through July 11, offering significant opportunities for Vietnamese selling partners to drive sales and enhance the visibility of Made-in-Vietnam products and Việt Nam's brand.

This four-day summer shopping event offers millions of deals with savings on home-improvement must-haves, back-to-school supplies, health and personal care finds, family-favorite items, fashion, beauty essentials and electronics.

New this year, Amazon introduces Today's Big Deals - themed daily deal drops featuring some of the most exciting deals of the event, exclusive to Prime members.

The event this year will return to 24 countries. Selling partners around the world, including those from Việt Nam, will be able to sell their products to more countries during the event.

According to Amazon, Vietnamese selling partners in some categories such as furniture, jewelry, home, kitchen, apparel and health & personal care have maximised their readiness through comprehensive work across inventory management, deals preparation, advertising and brand enhancement.

To help Vietnamese selling partners capture the opportunity of this peak selling season, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam started a series of events in Hà Nội, HCM City, and a series of six webinars covering essential Prime Day topics such as advertising, logistics, and merchandising to help local businesses get ready and take advantage of Prime Day.

“We're thrilled to see Vietnamese selling partners across more categories leveraging this peak selling season to drive sales and enhance the visibility of Made-in-Vietnam products and Việt Nam's brands,” Larry Hu, head of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia said.

“We're also seeing strong preparation across summer travel, back-to-school, and home décor products, as Vietnamese sellers get ready to showcase their quality products to Prime members globally.”

Prime is a saving, convenience and entertainment all-in-one membership. Last year, independent sellers – most of which are small- and medium-sized buúinesses – who make up more than 60 per cent of sales in Amazon’s store and help make Amazon’s wide selection possible, sold more than 200 million items during the 2024 Prime Day event.
