The global fashion company H&M will send a senior sourcing delegation to the Viet Nam International Sourcing 2025.

The exhibition connects global supply chains and takes place from September 4 to 6 at the SECC Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City.

Viet Nam International Sourcing 2025 is co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the HCM City People’s Committee.

H&M’s first-time presence at the event, alongside other Nordic enterprises, highlights the growing interest and a strong shift toward sourcing from Vietnamese suppliers. This marks an important opportunity to elevate the position of Việt Nam’s export industry on the international stage.

The participation of one of the world’s largest fashion groups is also seen as opening new doors for cooperation in fashion, textiles and sustainable supply chains for Vietnamese businesses.

“The presence of H&M at Vietnam International Sourcing not only brings concrete cooperation opportunities for suppliers but also enhances the image of Vietnamese goods and businesses,” a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.

H&M’s participation is a clear demonstration of Vietnamese suppliers’ potential to meet the stringent standards of the European market. It represents a key opportunity for domestic firms to access major sourcing channels, deepen integration into global value chains and strengthen their positions in high-value-added sectors.

According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden, this year’s Nordic business delegation is professionally organised with the office’s support and includes major names in retail, consumer goods, logistics and sustainable manufacturing.

In 2023 and 2024, the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden also facilitated Nordic business delegations to the Viet Nam International Sourcing events, featuring renowned brands such as IKEA, Port of Gothenburg, F&H and Scanesia. These delegations sought suppliers, conducted on-site assessments and formed cooperative agreements with Vietnamese enterprises.

Viet Nam International Sourcing 2025 will have over 500 exhibiting companies and around 300 international sourcing delegations. The key sectors include food and beverages, consumer goods, furniture, fashion, raw materials and supporting industries.

The event will serve as a meeting place for supply and demand and a venue for professional exchange, experience sharing and exploration of effective partnership models.

It will include a wide range of supporting activities such as seminars, B2B networking, supplier tours and site visits to factories and industrial parks. The content will focus on European export standards, green transformation, logistics and building international brands.
