UNIQLO opens its first store in Huế

UNIQLO opens its first store in Huế, within the UNIQLO AEON MALL in Huế City of the central Thừa Thiên Huế Province on March 28.

Crowds flocked to catch the opening of the first UNIQLO store in the UNIQLO AEON MALL, in Huế City of the central Thừa Thiên Huế Province on March 28.

Located in one of central Việt Nam’s key cities, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, UNIQLO AEON MALL Huế marks a significant milestone in the brand’s long-term growth strategy in Việt Nam. This is the first store in Huế and the central region, marking UNIQLO’s 29th store in the country.

Speaking of the milestone, the General Director of UNIQLO Vietnam, Akiyama Naoki said: “Over more than five years, UNIQLO has consistently pursued its goal of expanding to many cities of Việt Nam, where customers can shop our LifeWear products conveniently and at reasonable prices. Today, it is my honour to announce the opening of UNIQLO AEON MALL Huế, in a city rich in cultural heritage and strong growth potential."

To mark the opening UNIQLO launched an exclusive, the UTme! Collection - 'Tinh tế hòa nếp Huế' (Blending Into Huế Culture) at the mall, a collection which with six unique capsule pieces, celebrated the beauty of Hue’s traditional culture, lifestyle and cuisine.

The designs have been created by Lê Trang and Lê Trọng Hoàng, two young artists born and raised in Huế, who bring their deep connection to the city into each design.

Also to celebrate the grand opening, UNIQLO AEON MALL Huế also offered special gifts and hosted hands-on experiences showcasing traditional local crafts for customers shopping in store.
