Sacombank ties up with Vietnam Youth Federation, Vietnamese Students Association to enhance youths’ digital financial literacy

It includes training, hands-on activities and competitions to encourage entrepreneurship and community engagement events to promote digital transformation, create financial literacy and spread the "Live Green – Live Healthy – Live Beautiful" campaign among youths.

The partnership with the Vietnam Youth Federation focuses on initiatives that provide a hands-on experience in digital banking products and services and financial literacy training — especially the use of AI in financial management — and enhancing knowledge of green finance, the circular economy and sustainable development.

The bank will also co-organise startup programmes like the "National Youth Startup Forum", "Startup Consultation Day" and the "Rural Youth Startup Project" to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among youths.

Sacombank will support the federation in social welfare projects like the "Lighting Up Border Areas" programme for people in remote and ethnic minority regions and the "Happy Home" initiative that aligns with the Government’s directive to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses.

The lender and the Vietnamese Students Association will provide training to enhance digital financial literacy and financial management skills in schools and promote youth volunteerism.

The former will develop a digital finance information portal, organise training courses and seminars and incorporate games into training to make learning more engaging and interactive.

It will also launch the "Understanding Digital Finance" competition, providing students with a hands-on platform to quickly grasp and apply modern financial solutions.

It will partner with the Vietnam Youth Federation and the Vietnamese Students Association to establish Healthy Living Fund to support community initiatives and promote a green and healthy lifestyle.

For each successful issue of its Visa Platinum O2 credit card, Mastercard Debit EcoGreen card, Sacombank Pay account, and Green Credit loan, it will contribute VNĐ10,000-50,000 to the fund.

It plans to help organise running events to encourage fitness among youths, pledging to the fund a contribution of VNĐ1,000 per kilometre completed by participants.
