During a press conference on Friday, Mai Hung Dung, deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong, highlighted the significance of the event, saying that this will be an important international event in the province after it was recognized by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) as the Intelligent Community of the Year.

The forum, spanning six plenary sessions and 28 dialogue sessions from Sunday to next Tuesday, serves as a valuable platform for organizations, businesses, and managers in Binh Duong to gain insights into knowledge, visions, and emerging trends in the 4.0 technology era, emphasized Dung.

Addressing innovation and socio-economic development, the forum underscores Binh Duong’s commitment to fostering investment, expanding international cooperation, and enhancing Vietnam’s standing in the global economic community.

Two symposiums focused on Binh Duong will delve into the Binh Duong Smart City development strategy and challenges related to innovation and creativity in the province.

As the fourth event of its kind in Binh Duong, the forum anticipates participation from hundreds of experts and representatives from domestic and foreign businesses.

Established in 2005, the Horasis Asia Meeting connects multinational groups, serving as an international investment promotion organization.

Binh Duong reported a 6.5-percent expansion in its industrial production index in 2023 compared to the previous year, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Export earnings reached $31.8 billion, while investment attraction estimated at $1.4 billion by the end of November.
