Public Bank launches its Mobile banking application in Vietnam

On 06 June 2022, Public Bank Vietnam unveiled its latest digital offering – “PB engage VN”, a brand-new mobile banking application complete with comprehensive features, providing customers with optimum user experience and convenience.

The launching of “PB engage VN” mobile banking application marks an important milestone in Public Bank Vietnam’s digital transformation strategy to create an ecosystem of diverse services through the integration of technology and customer engagement.

During the event launch, Mr. Chee Keng Eng - General Director of Public Bank Vietnam said, “It is an inevitable trend that banking through mobile applications will fast become the most chosen method of performing banking transactions. The introduction of “PB engage VN” demonstrates Public Bank Vietnam's commitment to digital transformation and we expect the “PB engage VN” mobile banking application to fit in seamlessly into our customers’ usage with its easy to use features and variety of services.”

The application is designed with a modern yet functional interface where services icons are easily located to facilitate users in their services selections. The application is integrated with cutting-edge technologies such as biometrics recognition and Smart OTP, providing secured convenience when customers perform their banking transactions.

The application comes with a complete range of services, covering all daily basic banking needs. Customers can easily make fund transfers, perform mobile top-ups or even pay an array of utility bills with just a few swipe of their fingers! Complementing the basic features, the application also provides many enhanced lifestyle banking needs including payments for domestic and international air tickets anytime, anywhere with a few easy taps on the application.

The application will also be integrated with a QR Pay feature, which enables customers to easily make cashless payments when shopping at supermarkets, retail stores, food and beverage outlets and even taxis by simply scanning the VNPAY-QR codes across more than 200,000 acceptance points nationwide.

VNPAY-QR not only benefits customers through time saving contactless experience but also offers plenty of promotions along the way.
