KDI Holdings announces strategic partners in Vega City Nha Trang
Yesterday (March 16) KDI Holdings officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sacombank as financial strategic partner and two of the world's leading hotel management and operation groups – Meliá Hotels International and Rosewood Hotel Group – for the grand Vega City Nha Trang project, the first and only integrated art-resort-entertainment complex on the coast of Nha Trang.
The event was witnessed by senior leaders of KDI Holdings, its strategic partners and more than 300 sales agents, and local media.
Speaking at the event, Le Minh Tam, general director of Vega City JSC (under KDI Holdings) said: “We are making greater efforts to deploy the project on schedule, ensure the construction quality with favorable conditions in terms of legality, premise, finance, and construction capacity, among others, to put a part of the project into operation in 2022. The entire phase 1 of the Vega City Nha Trang project is intended to be completed and officially launched in 2023.”
Vega City Nha Trang, one of the property development projects of KDI Holdings, has been receiving avid attention due to its unique new model – the integrated art-resort-entertainment complex, an exceptional blend of modern architecture, hosting a variety of compelling entertainment and facilities in Bai Tien, Nha Trang city. With a vast 44-hectare site and the total investment capital of VND13 trillion ($565.2 million), the first phase of the project will take up an area of 15.6ha with various property products such as 1,500 hotel rooms, 168 ocean-view shophouses, and 100 luxurious villas.
99 service facilities, shophouse, villa and 5-star hotel systems will be managed and operated by world’s leading brands like Hyundai E&C, Accor Group, Meliá Hotels International, and Rosewood Hotel Group. Developed with great efforts and inspiration from KDI Holdings, the project is promising to become a City of Light and Festivals throughout the four seasons, 24/7, attracting tourists and prolonging their stay in the coastal city of Nha Trang.
At the ceremony, Pham Tan Minh, director of Sacombank’s Khanh Hoa branch shared, “We are honored to become the financial strategic partner of Vega City Nha Trang, an extremely potential property project with distinct advantages. A handshake with the world's top operating brands
Surpassing strict requirements on design and service standards, each hotel and resort in Vega City Nha Trang will be operated by a prestigious international 5-star hotel management groups. Vega City Nha Trang is currently the only property project to converge multiple world-class management and operating partners in this billion-dollar industry.
Leading Spanish hotel management group, Meliá Hotels International which operates more than 374 hotels in more than 40 countries and four continents, will manage Gran Meliá Nha Trang and Meliá Nha Trang, adjacent to the vibrant beach with panoramic views of the beautiful Bai Tien.
Gran Meliá Nha Trang will feature 96 beach-front villas while Meliá Nha Trang will provide 370 lavishly-appointed rooms. Both properties will also feature a variety of international dining options, excellent wellness services including swimming pools, beach bars, fitness centres, and the finest spas with Spanish warmth and thoughtful, added extras.

The project is also operated by Rosewood Hotel Group from Hong Kong, consisting of 28 luxury hotels in more than 16 countries around the world. The group was appointed to manage New World Nha Trang Bay Hotel. This partnership with KDI Holdings embarks on a new chapter of Rosewood expansion in Nha Trang.
