In his speech at the event’s opening ceremony, Thai Ambassador to Viet Nam Tanee Sangrat spoke highly of bilateral relations in many fields between the two countries.

Trade turnover between Thailand and Viet Nam reached more than US$17 billion in 2019. Thailand was Viet Nam's largest trading partner in ASEAN and Viet Nam was also Thailand's most important investor with a total investment of $2.3 billion, said Tanee Sangrat.
