More than 500 international buyers are expected to attend the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2026 in HCM City from September 3 to 5, offering Vietnamese businesses new opportunities to secure orders, attract investment and join global supply chains.

Connected through Việt Nam’s overseas trade offices, the buyers are seeking suppliers across sectors including shipbuilding, plastics, food, seafood, agriculture, textiles, furniture, logistics and consumer goods.

Among them, Clarksons Sweden AB, a member of Clarksons – the world's leading international shipping services provider, is looking for Vietnamese shipyards capable of building 10,000–25,000 DWT oil tankers and large passenger vessels meeting European and ice-class standards.

Swedish company Lagerqvist AB is seeking Vietnamese suppliers of plastic materials and additives, particularly CaCO3 filler masterbatch, as well as partners in packaged, frozen and processed meat.

In the US, Walmart has expressed interest in Việt Nam’s processed agricultural products, value-added food and consumer goods. Meanwhile, the Asian-American Chamber of Commerce plans to promote the event among its network of importers and distributors.

Japanese buyers are also seeking stable, high-quality supplies from Việt Nam, particularly agricultural products, food, processed industrial goods and consumer products.

Now in its third year, the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo has become an important platform connecting Vietnamese exporters with global buyers, helping turn business contacts into concrete orders and long-term partnerships.
