Thakhaek Specific Economic Zone to have new water supply

DM Group Sole Co., Ltd. and Loxley Public Company on November 25 signed a joint venture agreement at the DM Group's office in Vientiane.

This cooperation is the first step in conducting a joint business and funding the construction of a water supply system that has the capacity to deliver 3,000 cubic metres a day.

The water supply system will be installed at the Thakhaek Specific Economic Zone in Khammuan province at a cost of 50 million baht (about 11.4 billion kip).

The system will provide water for the zone and nearby communities.

It is expected that it will start delivering water to consumers in June 2017.

Chairman of the DM Group Sole Co., Ltd. Mrs Doungta Matmanisone and Vice Chairman of the Loxley Public Company Mr Pises Dissawat signed the agreement.

The project assures investors in the specific economic zone that they can access water supplies.

The joint venture invites investors who are interested in improving and developing the area to contact the partner companies, who welcome their interest and can make services available.
