Santiphab Sangkasi Lao appoints financial advisor

Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Company Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with APM (LAO) Securities Company Limited to appoint them as a financial advisor to manage its business and finance infrastructure.

The agreement was signed by Chairman of CEO Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Company Limited Mr Sangkhom Chansouk and APM (LAO) Securities Company Limited CEO Mr Somphob Sakpanpanom.

The signing ceremony took place in Vientiane yesterday and was witnessed by representatives from the concerned sector.

The signing aims to file Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Company Limited for registration on the Lao Securities Exchange (LSX) in the near future to seek funds to expand its business by targeting hardware sales to real estate developments.

Under the agreement, APM Lao will also help the company improve its business structure appropriate to the LSX's regulations, aiming to ensure the smooth trading of shares in 2017.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr Sangkhom said the company has been preparing to register on the LSX over recent years.

Cooperating with APMLAO will help expand our business more effectively and will give us an opportunity to compete more effectively in the industrial sector, Mr Sangkhom said.

Mr Sangkhom stressed the company planned to register on the LSX to raise capital to develop the business and produce new products to meet the needs of customers.

The company has set its goal to export its products to neighbouring countries under the banner of Home Solution'.

Real estate development and hardware sales in Laos and neighbouring countries have been growing steadily due to investment in building and accommodation construction which means demand for associated products is increasing. This requires the company to produce more products, Mr Sangkhom said.

Another factor is changing consumers' behaviour because the quality of our products has won the trust and long-term support of builders and project owners.

Mr Sangkhom predicted sales in the sector across Laos and other Asean member states would continue growing into the future.

To meet demand in local and regional markets the company has already established Savan Gypsum Products Company Limited to produce many types of gypsum under the Diamond Plaster' name.

Located in the East-West Corridor, the company has the capacity to transport its products to Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, Mr Sangkhom added.

APM (LAO) Securities Company Limited CEO Mr Somphob Sakpanpanom said he strongly believed that Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Company Limited would grow further, especially once it is registered with the LSX as additional capital can be raised to facilitate the company's development and operational needs.

Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Company Limited is located on Kamphengmeuang Road at Phonthan village in Xaysettha district, Vientiane. P.O. Box: 1673.
