108-1009 Group Co., Ltd marks 5th anniversary
108-1009 Group Co., Ltd will continue to improve its website for Lao job seekers and employers to build upon its first five successful years, according to the company.
The group celebrated its 5th anniversary and achievements on Monday in Vientiane with government officials and representatives from the private sector also joining the event.
The company established the 108JOB.LA website and 108 magazine in 2011, which were the first of their kind in Laos with the magazine also being the only job seeking magazine printed in both Lao and English, the company's Director, Mr Keovisouk Salasane told the event.
The magazine originally cost 5,000 kip per copy in its first two years, but then the company decided to offer it to the public for free every Monday.
Going forward the company will also develop new services for society and give jobseekers more choice in finding a job which will be able to be accessed by everybody in the community, Mr Keovisouk said.
The new initiatives include the JOB JIB JIB.LA website, which will make job seeking easier, featuring a Lao language menu along with information on part-time work.
Next year, the company will also re launch the 108JOB.LA website as 108.JOBS which will be able to be accessed via Android and ISO apps.
The company's goal is to let people access every kind of business job in Laos and the Asean market in order to compete within the Asean Economic Community.
