Local media firms Endorphine, Quantum celebrate success at 2015 Campaign Asia Awards

Endorphine Concept, Cambodia’s leading provider of digital marketing solutions, had a debut to remember at the 2015 Campaign Asia Agency of the Year Awards, taking home a Gold award and being named Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar Digital Agency of the Year.

Communications and news media specialists Quantum Publicity also did well in their first outing at the prestigious annual competition, and picked up the Bronze Award for Best Independent Agency in the same region.

“This is a huge achievement for us as a team, and it reflects our commitment to providing innovative and effective digital solutions for marketing and advocacy,” said Endorphine’s Managing Director Adrienne Ravez.

“Both Endorphine and Quantum would like to thank our customers for their support and inspiration – without them this would never have happened,” she said.

Wins for the two local partner agencies marked a departure from recent years when the Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar awards had been dominated by large firms such as Riverorchid and Phibius who have enjoyed a more entrenched position in the regional market for a number of years.

Quantum Managing Director Julian Rake said the newcomers’ success underlined the strength and creative talent at work in Cambodia’s marketing sector.

“I think this shows just how fast Cambodia’s communications industry is growing. Businesses no longer need to look abroad for PR services, because there is so much home-grown talent right here.”

“It also shows how the Cambodian business environment is modernising as Cambodian companies, who previously might not have valued public relations so much, look to expand their markets beyond Cambodia.

To do that, it often helps to have PR professionals working with you in addition to the creative, advertising and branding specialists, who can help build your reputation as a company,” he added.

The winners were announced at a gala presentation dinner, held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Singapore on December 10.

Campaign Asia’s Agency of the Year Awards recognize excellence in leadership, creativity and innovation, outstanding business performance, talent development, industry contributions and overall achievements, and are some of the most coveted prizes in the Asia-Pacific advertising and communication industries.
