Nagacorp could bid on Cyprus casino licence

Nagacorp Ltd, the parent company of NagaWorld, Cambodia’s biggest casino, is expected to bid on a licence to operate the first casino resort in Cyprus, according to a media report from the Mediterranean island.

A total of 12 companies from the US, Russia, France, Philippines and Cambodia have formally expressed interest in a licence to build and operate an “integrated resort” on Cyprus that consists of a casino and leisure facilities.

Five companies – Nagacorp, Hard Rock, Bouygues, Bloomberry Resorts Corp and Absolute – are expected to submit a full official proposal by the deadline this Friday, the Cyprus Weekly reported.
