VN Index bucks the trend to see gains

Most of the Asian indices registered losses on June 23, but the VN index still grew in Viet Nam.

 

The Hang Seng Index suffered the loss of 398.25 points to finish at 22,804.81 in Hong Kong. The Shanghai Composite Index also edged down 2.31 points to end at 2,024.37 in mainland China.

The Nikkei 225 added 19.86 points to reach 15,369.28 in Tokyo, where the Topix Index slipped 1.44 points to end the day at 1,267.48.

Also losing, the Straits Times Index closed down 1.40 points to end at 3,257.40 in Singapore.

The VN Index was the only exception, with a gain of 5.14 points to close at 565.92 in HCM City, while the HNX Index slipped 0.33 points to end at 75.98 in the capital city.
