Seven Digital Company to make a mark on printing

he Seven Digital Company, the first and only authorised Fuji Xerox dealer in Laos, plans to sell at least two industrial scale digital printers to customers in Laos every month, with a focus on Vientiane.

“The targeted customers will be printing houses in Vientiane because there are more than 60 printing houses based in the capital and that's not including the sign companies,” the company's General Manager, Mr Anousone Phachanthavong, told Vientiane Times.

He said that all things going according to plan, there is the possibility of opening service units in the provinces of Champassak and Savannakhet, offering Fuji Xerox products and after sales services and support.

According to Mr Anousone, the price of Fuji Xerox industrial printers starts at around 1.5 million baht and ranges up to 10 million baht, according to the , model and print quality.

The company is ready to offer a wide range of digital printers in Laos, which will be imported from Thailand. “In my observation, this kind of business is booming in Thailand, so it won't be any different here in Laos,” Mr Anousone said.

He explained that the company is not solely focused on over-the-counter sales, as after-sales service is at the heart of securing a good reputation and repeat business.

Seven Digital Company has highly skilled technicians and maintenance personnel to provide assistance to its customers, correcting any issues that arise and ensuring they get optimum service from their Fuji Xerox printe rs.

“Of course, the company seeks to reap benefits from business operations but the promotion of skilled workers in the fields of information technology and graphic design will help further human resource development in Laos,” he said.

Fuji Xerox (Thailand) Company Limited's Production Service Business Sales Operation Director, Mr Pichai Thunyawacharakul, said it is important for Laos to have digital printing machines.

“One important reason is that Laos will be part of the Asean Economic Community in 2015 and when more foreign businesses set up operations in Laos, the demand for digital printers will only grow,” he said.

Seven Digital Company is located on T4 Road in Phonthan Neua village, Xaysettha district, Vientiane, close to the Asean Mall.
