Bidv spares 10tr dong for short term loans at 9pct/yr

Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (Bidv) has recently announced that from August 22, 2012, Bidv earmarked 10 trillion dong for short term soft loans in dong.

The bank’s programme will be applied for new loans under the lender’s credit rating from Grade A onwards. These soft loans will not be given to securities and real estate sectors.

The lending interest rate will be 9 percent p.a. since the disbursement date of loans till December 31, 2012. After this period, the lending interest rate for these loans will follow the common mechanism.
