UNIQLO, the global fashion retail brand from Japan, officially opened its UNIQLO AEON MALL Thanh Hóa store on October 15, bringing Japanese-quality LifeWear apparel and a modern shopping experience closer to customers in Thanh Hóa.
According to the company, the opening of the store marked a significant milestone in UNIQLO’s business development and store network expansion strategy across the central and northern regions of Việt Nam.
The company's representative said: “Looking ahead, UNIQLO aspires to build a lasting connection with Thanh Hóa not only through our business operations but also by creating employment opportunities, developing talent within the retail sector and contributing tangible value to the growth of the local community.”
Located on the ground floor, the UNIQLO store opened at the same time as the launch of AEON MALL Thanh Hóa and features a retail floor area of approximately 1,000 square metres.
The space is designed follwing to the global standards of the UNIQLO store network, aiming to provide customers with a convenient and comfortable shopping experience.
The store offers a diverse range of products featuring Japanese technology, catering to various needs and weather conditions.
To mark the opening of its new store, the brand is introducing an exclusive UTme! collection inspired by the Thanh Hóa region, alongside a variety of limited-edition gifts prepared specifically for local customers.
The first store in Thanh Hóa also bears unique local touches, featuring designs brought to life through the cheerful, approachable illustrations of artist Lương Linh.
In the UTme! collection, iconic landmarks and specialities of the region – such as Sầm Sơn Beach, *nem chua* (fermented pork rolls), and *chè lam* (a traditional ginger-peanut rice cake) – are reimagined in a youthful, modern style.
UNIQLO also announced that it would allocate a portion of the proceeds from the UTme! collection to provide medical equipment for the Thanh Hóa Children’s Hospital, thereby channelling value generated by the community back into the service of that same community.
