The Vietnam Interior and Build Expo (VIBE 2026) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City on September 30, bringing together businesses and professionals across the architecture, interior design and construction industries.
Entering its third edition, the expo features more than 300 businesses and 700 booths showcasing over 10,000 modern living-space solutions. It is expected to attract around 15,000 visitors.
Held under the theme “Growth in Motion”, the event reflects the development of the domestic market and changing demand for living spaces. It aims to connect the supply chain from building material manufacturers, designers and contractors to handicraft producers and consumers.
A highlight this year is the first HCM City Pavilion Cluster, jointly organised by the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of HCM City (ITPC) and the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCM City (HAWA), featuring 24 businesses from the city's wood and handicraft industries.
Major companies including Đồng Tâm, An Cường, Hoa Sen Homes, TEKCOM, Saint-Gobain, DIVO and Phúc Mỹ Gia are introducing solutions combining technology, performance, aesthetics and adaptability to Việt Nam's tropical climate.
The expo also highlights integrated living-space solutions covering design, production and construction.
Visitors can explore collections inspired by trends such as Cozy Minimalism, Organic Modern and Biophilic Design, as well as combinations of natural materials with premium materials. Health, ergonomics and AI applications for optimising living spaces are also featured.
Beyond commercial activities, the expo includes the VIBE Gallery Architecture with 33 contemporary architecture firms, products from the Hoa Mai Design Award, handicraft workshops and 20 professional seminars and workshops. The V-Forum focuses on reshaping HCM City's urban landscape and quality of life towards 2030–35.
Nguyễn Văn Diện, deputy general director of the Vietnam Forestry and Forest ProtectionDepartment, said the domestic wooden furniture market had considerable room for growth amid urbanisation and rising demand for quality living spaces.
Phạm Quang Nhật, director of ITPC, said HCM City was entering a new development phase with expanded urban space and stronger links among urban, industrial, service, logistics and port areas.
This creates opportunities for the architecture - interior - construction sector to affirm its role and to harness the wave of urbanisation and the growing demand for renewal and development of urban living spaces, he said.

Nhật said: “VIBE 2026 not only establishes a comprehensive trading platform for the architecture - interior - construction ecosystem, but also contributes to strengthening supply - demand linkages and technology connections, building brand image, supporting enterprises in restoring production and business activities, and promoting economic development.”
Nguyễn Quốc Khanh, head of the VIBE organising committee, said the theme “Next in Space – Growth in Motion” reflected both the industry's current development and its future direction.
“‘Next in Space’ is about rethinking how we live, work and experience our surroundings, while ‘Growth in Motion’ reflects an industry constantly transforming and seeking new drivers of growth,” he said.
He noted that Việt Nam's wood and furniture industry had built strong manufacturing capacity, a skilled workforce and modern supply chains through years of export growth.
But the industry's development should not be measured solely by export revenue but also by whether Vietnamese people have access to better, safer and greener homes.
“VIBE 2026 aims to create comprehensive connections to serve more than 100 million domestic consumers. With the spirit of ‘Made by Vietnamese, for Vietnamese’, we hope to bring the best designs and products closer to millions of Vietnamese families and build a strong domestic market,” he said.
Khanh said VIBE was moving beyond a conventional business-to-business (B2B) exhibition model towards a B2B2C (Business-to-Business-to-Consumer) platform connecting designers, manufacturers, material suppliers, distributors, retailers and consumers.
Organised by HAWA in collaboration with the HCM City Construction and Building Material Association (SACA), VIBE 2026 will run until October 3.
