Techcombank returns to Singapore and London to connect global talent for Việt Nam’s strategic financial platform

These events will connect overseas Vietnamese and international talent with Techcombank’s leadership team to explore opportunities to build their careers with one of Việt Nam’s leading financial institutions and help to power Việt Nam’s next era of growth.

Techcombank on Tuesday announced that it will hold its Overseas Talent Roadshow 2026 in Singapore on October 23-24 and in London on November 13-14, building on the success of previous editions.

These events will connect overseas Vietnamese and international talent with Techcombank’s leadership team to explore opportunities to build their careers with one of Việt Nam’s leading financial institutions and help to power Việt Nam’s next era of growth.

To be held under the theme 'Enabling Việt Nam’s Next Era – Building the Platforms that Power Growth, Capital and Wealth', the roadshows will engage professionals currently working at banks, financial institutions, investment fund, single and multi-family offices, multinational asset management organisations and other financial institutions.

The programme will focus on three priority areas for talent recruitment: corporate banking, investment banking and private banking. Each is central to Techcombank’s current five-year strategy and supports Việt Nam’s evolving needs for capital mobilisation and allocation, financial market development and asset management.

The events in Singapore and London will give participants the opportunity to engage directly with Techcombank’s CEO, Jens Lottner, and other members of the bank’s senior leadership team. They will hear firsthand how Techcombank plans to capture opportunities arising from Việt Nam’s fast-growing economy, strengthen its corporate, investment and private banking capabilities, and learn about career opportunities across the bank and its ecosystem businesses.

The programme also creates opportunities to connect with international professionals currently working at Techcombank, and hear firsthand about their experience joining the bank, developing their careers and settling into life in Việt Nam with their families.

Nguyễn Lê Thảo Nguyên, Chief People Officer, Techcombank, said: “Việt Nam is entering a phase of development that requires increasingly specialised capabilities in capital arrangement, capital markets and asset management.

"To meet these requirements, Techcombank remains steadfast in investing in people and capabilities as core foundations for long-term growth. We seek to connect with professionals who can translate international experience into capabilities and solutions relevant to the needs of the Vietnamese market, while contributing to building meaningful financial platforms for Việt Nam’s next era of growth.”

The Overseas Talent Roadshow 2026 takes place as Việt Nam accelerates financial market reforms designed to enhance its ability to mobilise and allocate capital to support long-term economic growth. Delivering on this ambition requires not only capital but professionals with the expertise to mobilise capital, structure financing solutions, and allocate investment towards growth opportunities across the economy.

It is against this backdrop that Techcombank is building its talent capabilities across corporate, investment and private banking under the strategy 'three platforms – one capital journey: growth – capital – wealth'. This strategy brings together the mobilisation of capital that businesses need to grow, the allocation of capital to suitable investment opportunities, and the management of the wealth this activity creates.

Where global talent can create impact at scale

After more than three decades of development, Techcombank has become one of Việt Nam’s leading joint stock commercial banks, sitting at the core of an integrated financial ecosystem that serves customers’ needs across banking, investments, wealth management and insurance.

As of the end of June 2026, Techcombank’s total assets reached more than VNĐ1.27 quadrillion, while profit before tax for the first six months of the year reached VNĐ18.5 trillion.

Alongside its scale, Techcombank is also one of the financial institutions pioneering innovation in Việt Nam’s banking industry through technology- and data-driven financial solutions, contributing to transforming the experience of tens of millions of customers over the years.

Techcombank has invested approximately US$500 million in digitalisation, data and talent over the past five years and expects to continue investing $1 billion over the next five years. These three pillars will continue to serve as the bank’s strategic foundations in the next phase, with AI as a critical capability to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making quality and customer experience.

The Overseas Talent Roadshow has been organised by Techcombank since 2022 and has travelled to major financial and technology hubs including Singapore, London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong (China) and Sydney. Over the years, the programme has gradually become a bridge connecting Techcombank with the community of overseas Vietnamese professionals and leaders, as well as international professionals interested in career development opportunities in Việt Nam.
