Quế Lâm launches $46m circular agriculture complex in Hà Tĩnh

Quế Lâm Group on Tuesday began construction of the Quế Lâm Lam Hồng 4F organic, circular and ecological agricultural complex in Thiện Nộ Village, Cẩm Xuyên Commune in the central province of Hà Tĩnh.
Covering nearly 47ha, the project has total investment of more than VNĐ1.2 trillion (US$46.1 million) and is invested by Quế Lâm Lam Hồng Organic Agriculture Co Ltd, a member of Quế Lâm Group.
The complex will be developed under the 4F circular economy model – Farm, Food, Feed and Fertiliser.
The project aims to supply the market with safe, high-quality organic agricultural products while applying advanced microbiological technologies and biological preparations to produce nutrients for livestock and crops.
It will also provide training and transfer scientific and technical advances to local farmers, helping establish sustainable production linkages and reduce environmental emissions.
A key component of the project is a system of five production and processing plants. These include a rice production and processing plant with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes; an animal nutrition production and processing plant with a capacity of 50,000 tonnes; a crop nutrition plant with a capacity of 150,000 tonnes; a plant producing herbal and medicinal probiotic products with a capacity of 50,000 tonnes; and a pellet and fuel production plant with a capacity of 50,000 tonnes a year.
The complex will also include livestock and crop farms and supporting facilities, forming an integrated circular production chain.
Under the model, resources will be used efficiently, while by-products will be returned to the production cycle to create additional value.
