The Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) and ITL Corporation have launched the Vietnam Logistics Safe & Excellent Driving Skills Award 2026, reaffirming their commitment to promoting road safety and improving professional standards among logistics drivers.

Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, the competition is set to become an annual industry event aimed at recognising skilled drivers while fostering a stronger culture of safe driving across Việt Nam's logistics sector.

The 2026 competition is scheduled for December and is expected to attract broader participation from logistics and transport companies nationwide.

According to VLA Vice Chairwoman Võ Thị Phương Lan, the award serves as a professional platform that honours outstanding drivers, encourages continuous learning and promotes safety awareness among frontline transport workers.

As road transport continues to account for the majority of the country's freight movement, improving drivers' skills and professionalism has become increasingly important to ensuring reliable and efficient logistics services.

ITL Managing Director Tô Hoàng Anh said the company's continued partnership with VLA reflects its long-term commitment to developing a highly skilled and responsible driver workforce.

By celebrating safe and professional driving practices, the organisers hope the award will contribute to improving service quality and strengthening the competitiveness of ViệtNam's logistics industry.
