Dulux by AkzoNobel has introduced the Colours of the Year 2026 – The Rhythm of Blues™ at the Ashui Awards 2025, an annual programme honouring architects, outstanding projects and reputable contractors in Việt Nam.

Instead of a single colour, The Rhythm of Blues™ features a harmonious trio comprising the vibrant blue Free Groove™, the light blue Mellow Flow™, and the dark blue Slow Swing™, offering a flexible transformation that connects emotions and inspires creativity in every living space.

Alongside the colour launch, Dulux Professional continued its sponsorship of the Building of the Year category, which recognises exceptional works representing the pinnacle of modern Vietnamese architecture. The 2025 award was presented to the Infinity Village project, designed by G8A Architects at Hòa Lạc Hi-Tech Park in Hà Nội. The project was praised for its unique design idea with two asymmetrical interlocking circles, creating a vibrant and rich spatial experience.

Cao Đức Dũng, head of Sales Project at AkzoNobel, said: "Becoming a strategic partner for the 14th Ashui Awards is a testament to AkzoNobel’s long-term commitment to the architecture and design community in Việt Nam. We hope that the combination of The Rhythm of Blues™ trio and our professional paint and coating solutions will inspire architects to continue creating masterpieces that provide aesthetic value and high-quality living experiences to the community."

Architect Lê Việt Hà, Founder and Chairman of Ashui.com, highlighted AkzoNobel’s long-standing partnership with the awards. He noted that the brand’s contribution extends beyond organisational support, providing professional value through colour trend research and advanced material solutions that empower architects to realise creative ideas and elevate the quality of contemporary Vietnamese architecture.

Often referred to as the “Oscars” of Việt Nam’s construction industry, the Ashui Awards have, over the past 14 years, played an important role in guiding the development of Vietnamese architecture and urban landscapes towards sustainability and human-centred values.
