Central Retail Vietnam has broken ground on its 45th shopping centre in the country, a 15,000sqm retail complex in Tuyên Quang Province that will feature a hypermarket, dining outlets and entertainment facilities.

The GO! Tuyên Quang project, located in An Tường Ward, highlights the Bangkok-based retailer's continued expansion into Việt Nam's secondary cities. The facility will anchor a 5,068sqm GO! hypermarket offering more than 40,000 products, alongside restaurant space, entertainment zones and fashion outlets, according to a company statement.

Scheduled for completion in December 2026, the centre will feature approximately 50 brands, Christian Olofsson, real estate director at Central Retail Vietnam, said at the groundbreaking ceremony. He added that the centre aims to serve as a hub for shopping, dining, entertainment and sustainable development.

The project is expected to generate direct and indirect employment in Tuyên Quang and neighbouring provinces, while providing a distribution channel for local agricultural products and goods from provincial cooperatives through GO!’s nationwide network.

Central Retail also announced VNĐ2.3 billion ($90,000) in funding to build classroom facilities in Tuyên Quang Province under its One Shopping Center, One School programme, aimed at improving educational infrastructure.
