Businesses optimistic about production and business situation

More than 40 per cent of businesses assess that their production and business situation will improve, while over 41 per cent consider it stable in the fourth quarter of this year.

More than 40 per cent of businesses assess that their production and business situation will improve, while over 41 per cent consider it stable in the fourth quarter of this year.

According to the results of a business trend survey of manufacturing and processing businesses in the third quarter of this year, 33.6 per cent of businesses evaluate their production and business situation as better compared to the second quarter of this year.

Nearly 45 per cent believe the situation is stable and 22.2 per cent of businesses assess they are facing difficulties.

It is expected that 40.8 per cent of businesses will assess that the situation will improve in the fourth quarter of this year compared to the third quarter of this year; 41.7 per cent believe the production and business situation will remain stable, and 17.5 per cent forecast more difficulties.

Among them, foreign direct investment (FDI) businesses are the most optimistic, with 83.2 per cent of businesses expecting their production and business situation in the fourth quarter of this year to be better and stable compared to the third quarter of this year.

The rate for non-state businesses and state-owned businesses is 82.4 per cent and 80.5 per cent, respectively.

Regarding production volume, compared to the third quarter of this year, 39.9 per cent of businesses forecast an increase in production; 43.4 per cent expect stability, and 16.7 per cent predict a decrease.

Similarly, regarding orders, 38.0 per cent of businesses expect a growth in orders compared to the previous quarter; 45.6 per cent foresee stable orders, and 16.4 per cent predict a decline in orders.

Additionally, 32.3 per cent of businesses expect a rise in new export orders; 51.2 per cent expect stable orders, and 16.5 per cent predict a reduction.
