Stavian Electric Distribution JSC (Stavian ED) and Shinec JSC have signed a strategic partnership to roll out carbon reduction measures at industrial parks, beginning with Đầm Hà Industrial Cluster in Quảng Ninh Province, in line with Việt Nam’s target of net zero emissions by 2050.

Under the deal, the partners will apply clean energy and efficiency solutions, including rooftop solar systems, battery energy storage manufactured by Stavian Energy Solutions JSC, solar-powered public lighting, renewable power supply through the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) mechanism, and liquefied natural gas infrastructure invested by Stavian Gas JSC.

“This is not only a pioneering step in applying clean energy in industrial parks but also provides a solid foundation for investors and manufacturers to align with global sustainability standards and achieve LEED GOLD certification,” the companies said in a joint statement.

To deliver the plan, the firms will set up a joint venture, Stavian Industrial Power Distribution JSC (Stavian IPD), responsible for implementing energy and infrastructure projects under a net zero framework.

Chairman and CEO of Stavian Group Tony Đinh Đức Thắng said: “We are proud to accompany Shinec in developing a green, modern and sustainable industrial cluster. Stavian ED & Stavian IPD in particular, also Stavian Group in general, are committed to delivering comprehensive energy solutions that contribute to Việt Nam’s net zero goal, while creating added value for businesses and communities.”

Shinec Chairman and CEO Phạm Hồng Điệp said: “Shinec is currently developing 10 new industrial parks/clusters across the country, all oriented towards the eco–circular model. The co-operation with Stavian ED will not only help these industrial parks/clusters quickly meet green criteria by utilising renewable energy sources but also create a dual benefit: reducing carbon emissions while unlocking opportunities from the carbon credit market.”

Stavian ED, part of Stavian Group, specialises in power infrastructure for industrial zones and emission reduction solutions. Stavian Group operates across industrial production, high technology, industrial infrastructure, energy transition and global trading and investment.

The partnership is expected to make Đầm Hà Industrial Cluster a model for net zero industrial development and strengthen Việt Nam’s competitiveness in attracting green investment.
