To commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, Thai Nguyen province will participate in a national exhibition in Hanoi.

The event will take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Centre in Dong Anh, Hanoi. Thai Nguyen plans to honour history and express gratitude for past contributions, while promoting the image, potential, and strengths of this midland province known for its revolutionary traditions.

This is a significant political and cultural event that reflects national pride, commemorates the country's glorious historical journey, and showcases the outstanding achievements of the province over 80 years of construction and development. It will contribute to the nation's overall cause, and to successfully realising socioeconomic development goals and building a prosperous and civilised nation.

Thai Nguyen will have two display areas, meticulously designed and equipped with modern technology to leave a strong impression and spread the spirit of innovation and creativity, closely linked to the province's unique cultural traditions.

In the central exhibition area, Thai Nguyen will recreate its 80-year journey of formation and development across ​​390 sq.m. The displayed content will be divided into various thematic sections, presenting a comprehensive picture of the province's political, economic, cultural, social, and national defence achievements.

The first section will retrace the glorious path of building the Party, political system, government, Fatherland Front, and mass organisations. It will highlight the consistent leadership role and the unity and solidarity of the people throughout the revolutionary cause, especially during the period of renovation and deep international integration.

Thai Nguyen will also introduce many outstanding achievements in culture and sports, education and training, and healthcare, clearly reflecting positive changes in improving people's quality of life. Innovative education models, modern medical equipment, and visuals of the preventive healthcare network and high-quality treatment facilities will serve as concrete evidence of the province's comprehensive development.

Thai Nguyen's economic progress will be presented through key sectors, including:

· Industry:Documentation and simulation videos of modern industrial zones and clusters, featuring high-tech products from leading foreign-invested enterprises.

· Agriculture:Images and models of high-tech agricultural production methods, and One Commune One Product (OCOP) items reflecting local identity such as vermicelli, tea, mushrooms, and speciality rice.

· Infrastructure and urban development:Planning models for smart urban areas, modern streets, and key infrastructure projects showcasing the development of living space and regional connectivity.

· Commerce and tourism:Videos, images, and documents introducing attractive tourist destinations and successful trade promotion programmes.

An economic growth chart through different periods will outline Thai Nguyen's compelling development journey, from a mountainous midland province to a major industrial and educational centre in northern Vietnam.

A must-see area will honour the rich cultural identity of Thai Nguyen's famous tea-growing regions. Through images of tea farmers, traditional and modern processing methods, and signature products from Tan Cuong, La Bang, and Trai Cai, with high quality, organic teas, internationally certified teas, and 4- to 5-star OCOPs, this area will offer a sensory experience combining tea tasting with performances of intangible cultural heritage.

The outdoor area of ​​the exhibition will cover ​​1,000 sq.m and showcase exemplary products reflecting the province's production capabilities and comprehensive innovation.

Major industrial sectors will be featured, affirming their role as driving forces for Thai Nguyen's sustainable development, including the province's distinctive products in various fields such as industry, agriculture, healthcare, education, and national defence, along with a space dedicated to innovation. This space will present outstanding creative products, models, and ideas associated with Thai Nguyen's development potential.

The exhibition content has been designed in a modern language with a multidimensional open space. The stylised image of a tea leaf and the Viet Bac mountainous forest will serve as the central motif. The entire exhibition area will be set on a three-tiered platform to create a focal point, harmoniously integrated into six interconnected sections using LED panels and LED mesh walls, all directed towards the centre, creating an overall modern and impressive visual.

Additionally, the province has arranged auxiliary areas including a performance stage, large LED screens, modern sound and lighting systems, and video screening zones to deliver a vivid multimedia experience that will attract and engage visitors throughout the exhibition. Materials, images, and video clips will employ both static and dynamic display techniques. The design integrates electronic information boards and touch screens to enable visitors to search for information and experience digital technology alongside prominent physical exhibits.

QR codes will be provided, linking to Thai Nguyen's official information portals, tourism maps, business profiles, and public service platforms. Modern technology will enhance virtual interaction, immersive experiences, and digital applications, creating a dynamic and engaging environment.

Through vivid archival images, artifacts, intuitive models, and modern technology applications, Thai Nguyen's exhibition space will offer a comprehensive view of a province embracing innovation and creativity, and a determination to realise its development aspirations for a more prosperous and civilised homeland.

The national exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day will be an occasion for Thai Nguyen and other provinces and cities nationwide to showcase their potential and strengths, and a forum for exchange, learning, and spreading traditional values ​​– working together towards a prosperous and sustainable future.
