ABB is highlighting how its latest technologies are helping Việt Nam’s industries embrace smarter, safer and more sustainable operations through digitalisation and AI at its Power Innovation Day 2025 in Hà Nội.

The day, themed ‘Helping Industries Outrun’, featured four interactive zones showcasing ABB’s latest technologies across low- and medium-voltage applications, covering smart homes and buildings, electrical safety, energy and asset management and grid of the future.

At the event, ABB launched two new solutions: Lite Panel Pro for intelligent energy monitoring and Framia, a premium frameless switch range, designed to meet Việt Nam’s growing demand for modern living environments and intelligent energy management.

“As Việt Nam rapidly urbanises and digitalises, ABB is proud to introduce advanced global technologies that help industries operate with greater intelligence, resilience and sustainability,” said Đoàn Văn Hiển, vice president of ABB Vietnam's Electrification, Smart Power and Smart Buildings.

“At ABB, we talk about helping our customers ‘outrun’ – that means staying ahead by adopting smarter solutions that boost performance, efficiency and long-term competitiveness. Aligned with Việt Nam’s net-zero ambitions, we are committed to driving progress through close collaboration with our customers and partners.”

As one of the region’s fastest-growing economies, Việt Nam is undergoing rapid industrialisation, urbanisation and digital transformation, driving major shifts in electrification. The surge in data usage, rising demand for data centres and the digitalisation of industries are placing new demands on power infrastructure. Systems now need to be both stable and continuously connected, energy-efficient and performance-optimised.

With the Government’s commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050, the need for smart, efficient and sustainable energy solutions is more urgent than ever.

Since 2023, ABB Electrification has invested over US$110 million in the Asia Pacific region to accelerate sustainable technologies and smart infrastructure. By working closely with partners, ABB is strengthening its leadership in electrification and helping to build a more resilient and sustainable landscape in Việt Nam and across the region.
